Nefeli Stamou

Greetings, my name is Nefeli and i am an emerging artist based in Athens, Greece, working primarily with mixed media, including acrylics, inks, and oils. My practice is deeply influenced by my lifelong love for animals and my background in equestrianism, which continues to shape the way I approach movement, form, and emotional presence in my work.

I explore themes of nature and animal life through both figurative and abstract expressions. Alongside representational subjects, I experiment with texture, layering, and the use of gold, allowing material and surface to play an active role in the final outcome.

Experimentation is central to my process. I am constantly exploring new techniques and materials, seeking to expand my visual language and evolve my mixed-media practice.
