Nefertara

Nefertara, Tara Ozella, is a fashion designer, fashion consultant, makeup artist, surrealist painter, photographer, filmmaker, and model based in Boston and New York. She is known for her award winning Nefertara fashion blog on Buzznet, where thousands of people, mostly young girls, follow her exciting original creations. Tara's Buzznet blog is also known for her fashiony self-portraits and original illustrations.

In 2006 she directed a feature length glam rock horror musical "Sound-bytes". She was a member of the glam rock band Video Ouija.

In 2007 she graduated from Massachusetts College of Art & Design for film direction.

In 2010 she founded the fashion label "The Church of Vanity". Her mission is to create American made custom high fashion apparel for the vainest people alive. "dress like your soul is naked" is Tara's motto. She has designed for NYC, night life royals, Daughters of Devotion, musician Kayvon Zand, musician Mei Ohara, and many more. Her designs have been published and shown in NYC and in Boston.

Besides fashion design Tara is an experienced makeup artist. She is flexible with her makeup techniques, from working with electro pop singer, contestant from NBC's The Voice last season, Casey Desmond, on photo shoots, to doing commercial makeup work for high profile clients, recently The Boston Bruins.

Currently, Tara is showing her surrealist paintings in art gallery shows. In the past year she has modeled for Shag Boston. Tara is available for fashion design, custom paintings, photo shoots, commercial and runway makeup work, event hosting, and fashion consultation.

Tara's future plans include expanding the Church of Vanity into a full scale couture fashion house and also getting back into film direction.
