I am Nehal Ahmad Faruquee, a Civil Engineer turned Political Consultant, originally from Khagaria, Bihar, India. My academic and professional journey spans infrastructure engineering, international mega-projects, and political strategy, combining technical expertise with grassroots governance experience.

I completed my Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from VIT Vellore (Vellore Institute of Technology), where I developed a strong foundation in structural engineering, project management, and large-scale infrastructure systems.

After graduation, I worked in Qatar with Hyder LLP, contributing to one of the world’s largest mega-reservoir and water security infrastructure projects, developed as part of Qatar’s national preparedness for the FIFA World Cup. This project focused on high-capacity potable water storage and long-term urban resilience, giving me hands-on exposure to international standards, complex execution, and multidisciplinary coordination.

Following my international experience, I returned to India and worked as a Chartered Engineer in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, where I was involved in infrastructure planning, technical evaluation, and public-oriented engineering solutions.

My interest in governance and public impact led me to transition into political consulting, where I joined IPAC (Indian Political Action Committee). Over three years, I worked closely with Prashant Kishor and senior leadership teams on election strategy, organizational building, data-driven campaigns, and voter outreach programs.

In 2025, I joined the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) campaign for the Bihar Assembly Elections, working with Tejashwi Yadav. I played a leadership role in team coordination, strategic planning, and on-ground execution, contributing to campaign management and political operations at scale.

My work reflects a commitment to development-driven politics, evidence-based strategy, and grassroots engagement, bridging engineering precision with political insight.
