Born in Papua New Guinea and growing up in Australia meant a lot flying to and from both places, and that is where my dream of flying started. From working in the field of technician, repairing and maintaining most forms of machinery to eventually leading into aviation. Now I am back at university studying Psychological Sciences, it is one day that I may be able to combine all my knowledge and experience into flight.
I currently have complete (end-stage) renal failure and that means I need a dialysis machine to keep me alive for 2 days at a time. I cannot travel anywhere for long periods of time, nor could I last long without this machine. Dialysis may cut me down, and may one day take my life; but while I walk this earth, my eyes will still forever gaze skyward.
I sincerely hope when you read this you do not think how strong willed I am, but that you can see within yourself is the strength to chase your dream, make it a goal and catch it.
As of 16/04/2014, I recieved a kidney transplant and my recovery is going well beyond my kidney specialists expectations. It is amazing that I have gotten 40 hrs a week of my life back from dialysis with this new kidney. I am truly greatful to the person that made the choice to donate their organs, and that person's family for supporting that decision. "I wish I could know more about you, so that I can honor your life and the choices you made, which in turn saved my life." -To My Donor.
