Neil’s love of music started early, growing up with a diverse soundtrack of pop, rock and alternative classics. By his late teens, he was already building a vinyl collection that has never stopped growing. In the early 1990s, Neil worked in commercial radio across South Australia, a time that saw him meet Australian music icons like Kylie Minogue and Peter Garrett, and even be on air during the historic 5KA to KAFM rebrand, a big moment in SA’s radio history.

While radio was just one chapter of his story, Neil’s passion for music runs deep. He is especially dedicated to supporting Australian artists and loves travelling to unearth new finds for his collection, with a particular soft spot for rare Japanese pressings.

Today, as co-founder of Peninsula Records & Books, Neil channels that lifelong obsession into curating a selection of records that reflects his eclectic taste, music that’s meant to be played, collected, and loved.
