Neil Williams

Neil Williams started off by travelling round East Africa for several years in late 1999. He ended up working as an editor for a music magazine in Kenya. After all while he decided to relocate and having spent 4 years in the wilderness, Neil finally came back into focus and wrote an award winning short script titled "Balloon".

Recent times have found Neil in Pakistan supporting the illegal use of drones in Waziristan, where he met many families caught in the line of fire. Neil also worked closely with people and families on Death Row around the world and he also spent some time working on rendition cases at Reprieve in London.

Neil loves words and cameras in no particular order. He dislikes the constant use of technology to create images that otherwise would not exist. In 2013 he plans to go to both Pakistan and Kenya to cover the unfolding elections. If he survives, he may well document his story
