Neill's purpose is to redefine what success looks likes for the business of sport.
He provides strategic, commercial and engagement solutions to rights holders, sponsors and athletes who want to embrace purpose as a key strategic business driver.
Through his work, Neill helps his partners to tap into incremental revenue streams, enhanced brand equity, operational efficiencies, strengthened stakeholder relations, increased activation opportunities and deeper and broader fan engagement all while delivering positive social and/or environmental impact...in short, to do good and do well.
Neill has worked in the international sports and entertainment business at the highest level over the last 25 years. During this time, he has held a number of executive leadership positions including that of President Octagon Worldwide EMEA and Chair of the San Francisco Bay Area Super Bowl 50 Sustainability Committee.
He has also consulted to many major global brands in the financial services, automotive, retail, telecommunications and broadcast sectors and worked across many major international sports events including the Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Formula One, America’s Cup and Super Bowl. He has also served on two Bid committee’s including Cape Town 2004 Olympic Bid and San Francisco Super Bowl 50 Bid.
Neill is a qualified Chartered Accountant having served articles with Deloitte in Cape Town, South Africa. Neill’s personal passion revolves around promoting and showcasing the “doing good while doing well” ethos and a belief that success does not have to come at the expense of the planet or the communities with which one interacts.
Neill published Passion Branding with John Wiley & Sons and regularly talks at major conferences and has recently spoken at TEDx San Francisco, Sustainable Brands, Green Sports Alliance Summit, Responsible Business Summit.
Neill is currently Chief Executive at Purpose & Sport.
