Neil Poulton
My career started as a personal trainer in a gym in London, I became more and more interested in the injury side of things and less interested in the weight loss and performance side of training. As a result I decided to re-train as a physiotherapist and concentrate on the injury/rehab career. I'm lucky to work with some fantastic people, particularly John Hardy, and together with others have built a training/therapy concept that has greatly enhanced my knowledge and practise. FASTER Health and Fitness is an extremely innovative and forward thinking company that mentors some of the leading personal trainers in the country, we are are constantly looking for the most effective training and therapy strategies and I am lucky to be part of it. Apart from my undergraduate degree I have studied functional movement in America, studied orthotic prescription, acupuncture, myofascial release, instrument assisted tissue release and various other manual therapies. My practise has always been in private clinics and as most musculoskeletal physio s I deal with a wide variety of injuries from all ages. My practise has always been different to my colleagues due to the heavy influence of my understanding of human function and the development of functional therapy with John Hardy.
