Hello, I am a typical 40 something English male, with the usual concerns about; making the bills, wanting my kids to do better than me, getting older, my expanding waistline, the state of the country, falling standards, global economic meltdown, etc.

I’ve always had an interest in self learning and self improvement. I believe that we must all take responsibility for our own actions. However I’m not that good at ‘walking the walk’ and am very much a work in progress.

I’ve got a beautiful wife and five fantastic kids ranging from 18 years old to 4 years old and trying to balance all their differing interests and demands keeps me on my toes!

I live the beautiful English county of Lincolnshire (hence Bomber County Boy) and have the Royal Air Force over flying my house most days, any thing from Typhoons to Spitfires. I make no apologies for being proud of our armed forces (even the matlots), however I am somewhat less proud of our Government and Politicians.

This blog is my way of sharing my thoughts, musings, ideas and for keeping myself accountable. If you have any comments, queries or ideas please add them to the relevant posting.
