I was born Neil Murphy on 11 November 1976 in Ilford and lived in East Ham. My father (Donald Murphy) left when I was just 2 years old. Soon after this my mother (Jaqui Cross) remarried and her new husband (Steven Cox) became my stepfather. When I was 5 my sister (Gemma) was born and I was diagnosed with meningitis but survived. When I was 7 we moved out of our East Ham home and stayed at my gran's in Plaistow. Here my second sister (Nicola) was born. On June 20 1985 we moved out of my gran's and moved to my current address in Barking. The bad thing about that though was because I was still registered at my East Ham school (Brampton) I had get up early in morning and struggle wit hmy stepfather to East Ham. If one little thing would happne to or from the school my dad would moan, moan moan right till we got to the doorstep. So in 1987 I decied to go to my sister's school (Ripple), my brother (Chris) was also born this year.
