Neil Rombardo
Neil Rombardo is a former two-term District Attorney for Carson City, now serving as a Senior Attorney in the Nevada Department of Employment, Training, and Rehabilitation in the Employment Securities Division. Neil has had a lifelong passion for justice and fighting for the little guys, inspired by role models such as Franklin Delano Roosevelt implementing the New Deal or Robert F. Kennedy taking on the mob or the KKK. Most recently, he withdrew Carson City from a case defending Nevada's same-sex marriage ban, as he found no legal argument to meet heightened scrutiny. Without a strong case supporting the ban, it was eventually struck down.
