Biography

Neil Nerzon "Champs" Taculod (born 30 January 1993) is a Filipino independent singer and song-writer. He has starred in several Filipino Christian urban music “Magnify Concert” 2009, “Music festival 2010”, “Contemporary music 2011”, he also join song-writing contest “Music for Relief 2012”, “Phil Pop 2014” and “Shadowfeet” music video 2013 on youtube. Neil is an ambassador in manila kid youth and family counselor relief Pasig Jan 25, 2009 to Nov 2, 2010 and a pure musician as well at church, Neil has also been working on music single “In The Valley” with indie music label.

Neil lives with his mother Ma. Corazon Taculod in Manila Bliss Village, and attends bosco celestial school and is currently studying computer engineering at Jose Rizal University. He was discovered at the age of fourteen when he began to write love songs before joining singing contest like "X-Factor Philippines", “The Voice of the Philippines”. He then began acting in several school stage play and big theater play like (Eternal Dream), (Life Of Special Bread), (The East Boy) and (Different Student “Musical”) becoming widely noted for his role as Tanner, a difficult child in 2008's Ray Holster, Killer in World of history 2009. He was then invited to try for a cinematic role in “Rizal Theatre” in which he played the role of the young wise guy. And last "Neil Taculod" with the music, "Life Is Short" (In The Valley) after the song, "All To You” (acoustic version) and "Overrated” (Take A Little Breath) October 2013. Neil focuses his attention in song-writing and as lead vocal of his band “Blue Whale” even though he’s busy in his academic study.
