Neina Sheldon

I am on a mission to help the UK's third of the population who experience Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and Winter Blues each year to live their fullest, happiest and most fruitful lives all year round.

Building on a small personal project called Little Light Room - a personal perspective blog and monthly events in Newcastle upon Tyne - I have recently founded Lightopia CIC to expand on my work to help individuals and organisations to understand and meet their personal and collective light nutrition needs.

A professionally qualified digital marketer and copywriter, I have a 13-year marketing background in brand and agency roles, working with companies from a broad range of sectors including education, retail, travel, B2B professional services and more. My work has naturally developed with my interests, taking in offline and digital marketing, communications and customer insights. I continue this work as a part-time freelance copywriter and marketing consultant.

I am also a trustee and director of Involve North East, which specialises in patient and public involvement, giving the people of the North East a voice about their health and wellbeing services.
