Since 2003, Nellie has worked for women with heart disease as Spokesperson on Capitol Hill, for WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease. She is also Patient Spokesperson: Measure Up Pressure Down representing living with Hypertension.
Professionally she worked in NY rising to Director of Technology. Wosu spends her time on projects that encourage, strengthen, uplift and inspire others. She is an active member of First Missionary Baptist Church, in Concord, NC.
She is a sought after television guest. Nellie has conducted seminars on corporate leadership for women. She is the Author of “The Keeper of Me”. She writes magazine articles, poems and plays.
Minister Wosu was included in the March 2013 Edition of ESSENCE Magazine, article concerning the impact of stress upon women.
Despite being permanently disabled she dispels the myths associated with same. Nellie not only survives with heart disease she thrives beyond compare by encouraging others; thinking that heart disease is not “something bad” that happened to her but, as a gift that has propelled her into her life’s mission purpose for His glory and to the benefit of many even including you!
