I am an award-winning entrepreneur with over 12 years of experience building and leading ventures. As a professional based in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe with 6+ years in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry, I thrive on creating memorable and sustainable brand experiences, delivering high-impact ROI events across Southern Africa.
I am a Co-founder of the multi-award-winning creative agency Graphic House Zim which operates in two industries - the Design, Print & Branding Industryand the Exhibitions & Events Industry.
I am the Founder of Lerato Trust, a non-profit focused on mentoring teens and youth in entrepreneurship, Graphic Design, Print, MICE, and mental health awareness. Through this organization I became the Convenor of Zimbabwe’s first-ever Kidpreneur Conference.
My academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, certifications in Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Tourism Destination Management (Cornell University, USA). Committed to continuous professional development, I recently passed my qualifying exams for the CEPA designation under SACIA and I am currently pursuing my CEM (Certification in Exhibition Management) qualification—the highest global credential in the Exhibitions and Events industry (IAEE, USA).
Selected Career Highlights
• Coordinated the Zimbabwe premiere of the internationally acclaimed series Shaka iLembe, delivering a high-impact media and stakeholder event.
• Led the coordination and construction of exhibition stands for Alliance One International and UBBS India at the inaugural World Tobacco Africa Expo.
• Successfully executed brand experiences across the design, print, exhibitions, and events sectors for over six years.
I leverage my experience to contribute strategically as:
- Initially as Vice Secretary General but now as Marketing & Communications on the League of Pros (RSA) Advisory Board.
- Member of the Entrepreneurship & Business Strategy Council for the World Leaders Consortium (UK).
- Head of Marketing & Communications on the US Alumni Exchange Association Board of Zimbabwe.
- Head of Communications -TEF Alumni Hub Executive Committee (Zimbabwe)
My work has been recognized with multiple accolades, a Tony Elumelu Foundation grant (2021), Businesswoman of the Year Award (Northern Region) (2023) by Megafest Holdings and Top 50 Remarkable MSME Founders (2023) by MSME Africa.
Furthermore, in 2023 I received another accolade as 25 Women Trailblazers in #STEM in Zimbabwe by Girls In STEM Trust and 100 Most Influential Persons in Africa by The Business Executive Ghana (2024).
During my free time, I mentor young professionals, serve as a Youth Pastor, and have had the privilege of serving twice (2024 & 2025) as a Judge for the prestigious Africa's Business Heroes program (A Jack Ma Foundation initiative).
I am also a proud member of the Institute of Events Professionals in Zimbabwe.
