Nelly Paulser has a background of over 15 years in accounting/business, branding-development entrepreneurship and professional training in events management, Nelly brings a unique blend of financial discipline and operational insight to the MICE & Tourism industry.
If there is one thing she has learnt, it is this: exhibitions and mega-events have the power to transform economies- but they don’t have to cost the earth to do it.
As a Certified Event Professional, she helps exhibition organizers, corporate brands, and MICE platforms design world-class events that try as much as possible to comply to global sustainability targets (ISO 20121, ISO 14001, ESG, and UN SDGs) while keeping their bottom line firmly in the black.
Her approach is a bit unique. She holds a degree in Accounting alongside her event credentials, which means she doesn't just look at sustainability as a "nice-to-have" checklist. She views it through the lens of the Triple Bottom Line (People, Planet, Profit). She knows how to ,not only, talk to corporate boards about ROI, but also calculate ROI and she know exactly how to audit a complex exhibition supply chain- from venues and contractors to exhibitors and attendees- to cut out waste and greenwashing without sacrificing the attendee experience.
With deep roots in Southern Africa and practical alignment with global standards like IAEE (CEM) and the Events Industry Council (SEPC), she seamlessly partners with international event teams, remote strategy projects, and local organizers across the US, UAE, Australia, Europe and African markets.
