Nelly Paulser has spent the last 13 years working at the intersection of business growth, numbers, and live events. If there is one thing I have learned, it is this: exhibitions and mega-events have the power to transform economies- but they don’t have to cost the earth to do it.
As a Certified Event Professional, I help exhibition organizers, corporate brands, and MICE platforms design world-class events that hit strict global sustainability targets (ISO 20121, ESG, and UN SDGs) while keeping their bottom line firmly in the black.
My approach is a bit unique. I hold a degree in Accounting alongside my event credentials, which means I don’t just look at sustainability as a "nice-to-have" checklist. I view it through the lens of the Triple Bottom Line (People, Planet, Profit). I know how to talk to corporate boards about ROI, and I know exactly how to audit a complex exhibition supply chain- from venues and contractors to exhibitors and attendees- to cut out waste and greenwashing without sacrificing the attendee experience.
With deep roots in Southern Africa and practical alignment with global standards like IAEE (CEM) and the Events Industry Council (SEPC), I seamlessly partner with international event teams, remote strategy projects, and local organizers across the US, Australia, Europe and African markets.
