I have two great loves, three passions, one calling.
2 loves: my two beautiful daughters;
3 passions: cocktails, teas and cigars
1 calling: to build and lead winning teams.
I'm currently at JNCQUOI HUB COMPORTA operational director excelling at what i do best.
I have started my journey in the art of mixology in my hometowns' bars, near Lisbon, in Portugal, at the age of 16, and later became a bartender in the hotel industry.
Throughout my years in the hospitality business I have embraced the following hotels' openings: Pestana Palace, Grande Real Villa Itália, Westin Campo Real, lastly, Savoy Palace, in Funchal, Madeira Island and lastly I involved in the opening the jncquoi projet Frou Frou,Beach Club Comporta and Deli Comporta restaurant.
More recently, before my passage through Madeira Island, I have collaborated for about 8 years at the Corinthia Hotel, in Lisbon, and I do the opening jncquoi Club members in Lisbon.
Along the way, I was a finalist in the World Class Portugal (2015) and Bartender of the Year (2014) contests. I have made two international detours to the Dubai World Cup and have also coached bar classes at ESCO, a local school.
Few things make me feel more alive than to create and to coach. I live by the sea and am passionate about nature, meditation and spin fishing.
