Nelson Lewis is a seasoned media maven and one of America's most provocative media personalities. The Savannah native's interests include aviation, piano, international travel, Steve Winwood, politics and all things journalism!

Nelson's credits his passion for conservative politics and monetarist beliefs to his grandfather and mentor, visionary entrepreneur and politician J. Curtis Lewis, Jr. When he was elected mayor of Savannah in 1966, J. Curtis Lewis became the first Republican mayor of a Georgia city since Reconstruction. From this introduction, Nelson has been a lifelong Republican, and began a career with the GOP as a teenager. While attending Lynn University, Nelson hosted a lively political radio show, called ‘Politijam’, and was the 2005 media editor of the school's student newspaper. Nelson graduated summa cum laude from Lynn University in 2006 and was awarded its faculty voted Henke Excellence in Communication Award.

Nelson moved to DC immediately after graduation. In late 2006, Nelson joined the talent booking team of the Fox News Channel’s DC bureau and subsequently enrolled in Georgetown University’s Masters in journalism program in political journalism in 2009, where his showcase project was a comprehensive long-form feature on one of the key players in the demise of the US Fairness Doctrine, entitled: “Bruce Fein: America’s Constitutional Philosopher”. Nelson Lewis went on to serve as the Senior Producer of the Laura Ingraham show in 2010 and then formed a women’s golf TV network alongside 4-time LPGA Major winner Hollis Stacy, Her Golf Network (HGN). In addition to his work with Fox News Channel and Foxnews.com, Nelson has appeared on BET and the Travel Channel.

In January of 2014 while recovering in Savannah from bilateral wrist (scaphoid) fractures, Nelson began volunteering as a grant writer at the 50.01 million dollar Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer Research Pavilion at St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital doing survivorship oncology research and as a Spanish medical interpreter at the hospital system’s Good Samaritan Clinic - an entirely volunteer-run medical clinic serving area homeless.

Nelson Lewis currently serves as Vice President and Senior Strategist of Newsvesting, LLC, a Managing Partner of the management consulting firm Delegal Capital,
