my aesthetic centers on balance, contemplation, sincerity, variance

imagination is my lens :: authenticity is my guide :: integrity is my fulcrum

i believe everything communicates :: things like texture, color, shape, pattern, as well as sound, perspective, taste, and smell are as integral to artistry as words are to language :: sensory perception is both a modality and artistic sensibility

i also believe there is no true separation :: elements such as light and shadow, void and fullness, black and white are different, and are able to be discriminated, but they are not independent of each other; they are only different aspects of the same thing: these are terms of relation, not of reality; polarity is a spectrum

complexity excites me :: i navigate comfortably between dichotomies

i believe the best life is a collage of passion, pain & perseverance

as a child i did not color inside the lines :: i still don’t

necessity is also the mother of 're'-invention :: when need be, i start over

east coast native + west coast rebirth = eclectic eloquence w/ edge

i love watching the sun set across the open sea; cooking soulful meals for soulful people; taking long drives to the edge of nowhere just to enjoy the ride; playing my flute, and djembe drum to the sound of the falling rain; being true to my authentic self
