Nereyda Valle

I'm from Texas, USA and have been teaching foreign languages since 2007. I decided to come to Spain in 2008 as an English assistant to experience other educational systems and gain new educational experiences. I've been fortunate to have worked with great Spanish teachers and to have taught English to all ages from 18 month babies to higher education.

I'm also a big fan of integrating technology into the classroom, and am always looking for new and effective ways to teach English. Therefore, I received a Masters degree in 'Education Media Design and Technology' from Full Sail University in Florida, USA in 2011.

After years of teaching and seeing the growing need for learning English in Spain, I decided to complete one of my long term goals in opening "Express Yourself English Academy" in October 2012.

Finally, I'm blessed to have a wonderful Spanish husband who supports and motivates me everyday along with my Westie dog. I love to travel, do yoga, explore new technologies, and listen to educational podcasts.
