Neurohealth Associates has earned a solid reputation as a neuropsychological health clinic capable of performing a wide variety of services for patients, including neurofeedback, neurohealth pediatrics, neuroeducational consultation, and neurohealth geriatric care as well as several types of therapy. With a highly trained staff and a director accredited by the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology, Neurohealth Associates takes a comprehensive approach to developing a unique treatment plan for each patient, typically resulting in measurable improvement in a patient's symptoms.
Many different types of neuroscience services are available to patients at Neurohealth Associates. Neurofeedback employs the science of neurocorrection and a quantitative electroencephalography brain map in order to train the brain to replace old patterns with more effective ones. This training requires a patient to interact with visual stimuli on a computer screen. Through repetitive correction of the stimuli, the patient's brain learns to create new brain wave patterns. Neurofeedback is combined with additional patient services offered at Neurohealth Associates in order to address children's mental health and educational issues such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and learning disorders, adult symptoms such as anxiety and depression, and geriatric care, including Alzheimer’s disease and atypical dementias.
Neurohealth Associates utilizes state-of-the-art brain mapping software packages in order to produce detailed three-dimensional brain images. A patient's individualized treatment plan is determined by analyzing these brain images and considering the results in conjunction with additional data that is unique to the patient, such as clinical history and diagnosis. A patient's progress is measured after each treatment phase is completed, allowing the staff to scientifically evaluate the treatment plan for effectiveness. In over 80 percent of the cases treated at Neurohealth Associates, improvement in a patient’s symptoms has been measurably significant.
