Christopher Neuwirth
Christopher Neuwirth is a proactive and innovative emergency management syncretist calling upon his professional experiences and education in emergency medical services, firefighting/hazmat, and law enforcement to promote cross-discipline awareness, understanding and collaboration. Chris is currently involved in healthcare/public health emergency management throughout New Jersey and is also an author, emergency services educator, and consultant for emergency management higher education. His interests include emergency management theory and its application in current practice.
Chris earned his Master of Arts degree in Emergency and Disaster Management from American Military University, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University in Cell Biology & Neuroscience and is currently pursuing a fellowship with the Emergency Management Academy. In addition, Chris has received specialized training from the Center for Domestic Preparedness, New Mexico Tech, FEMA's Emergency Management Institute, the Los Angeles Police Department, the New Jersey State Police and TEEX.
