Nicki Evans is an award-winning Houston, TX portrait photographer with 10 years of experience in photography, ranging from photojournalism to family portraiture.
After studying journalism at Lamar University, Nicki began working as the sole photographer for The Baytown Sun. Following her stint as a photojournalist, Nicki started her own portrait business and joined the staff at the University of Houston, where she currently works part-time as an event and portrait photographer. When not working at UH, Nicki photographs clients for commercial and advertising purposes as well as families, couples and seniors for home display.
Nicki’s work has been published in numerous University of Houston (Bauer College of Business) collateral pieces and publications including the award-winning Inside Bauer Magazine, Texas Monthly, Houstonia Magazine, Houston Business Journal, The Beaumont Enterprise, The Baytown Sun and various blogs.
Nicki is a members of the American Society of Media Photographers, the Professional Photographers of America, the Texas Professional Photographers Association and the Professional Photographers Guild of Houston.
