New England Cedar Fence

We established www.NewEnglandCedarFence.com in 2009 to offer homeowners and contractors traditionally styled Western Red and White cedar picket fencing as an alternative to high-priced custom fence and lower-quality vinyl and pressure-treated wood fence.

The founder of New England Cedar Fence is Steve Huntoon. Steve started his career working in the shop and yard at Walpole Woodworkers, Inc. and progressed over 10 years to become the company's sales manager. He learned from the ground up how to design, manufacture and install cedar fences the right way so they will look good and last for decades. Steve was a fence spokesman appearing on the Public Broadcasting System's This Old House and the Victory Garden.

We are located in Southern NH, at the Salmon Falls Mills just 15 minutes from Portsmouth, NH. The Mills are a vibrant community of artists and woodworkers sharing the special energy of an 1820’s former textile mill.
