I'm the founder of NewGrassRoots, a civic engagment web application that ensures peoples' voices are heard loud and clear by their legislators. We launch in January, 2015!
Our vision is a functional democracy, where all people have equal access to be heard by elected officials and all voices get counted in a transparent way. Our core service is delivering voice messages from constituents to legislators and providing the anonymous call statistics on each bill, from each district.
When I'm not working on improving democracy with NewGrassRoots, I'm either spending time with my beautiful partner and our daughter, in the garden eating cherry tomatoes off the vine, or out on the farm feeding our pastured chickens.
