Adam Newhard

Originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania, I am now working as a program assistant with the University Career Center with the International Careers Course. I am helping build and execute courses and programming with University Career center to help students' awareness of opportunities in international careers.

In addition, I am working towards my PhD in modern European history at KU. I study the Spanish Empire and how women were able to navigate a society that did its best so suppress and oppress them.

In my spare time, I work with local public history organizations like Freedom's Frontier National Heritage Area. I volunteer with International Student Services at KU. And if I am not doing any of those things, I am probably reading or asleep.
