Emily Newkirk

Hi! I’m a bumptious chick that escaped from her hometown in South Jersey to explore the world. My pivotal life moment was following through on the promise I made to my sixth grade self in Spanish class - I went abroad for my junior year at university in Madrid and fell in love, first with the city, then with the Spanish language and, finally,with living abroad. After leaving Boston College and the Jesuits I moved to NYC to work at an international bank and travel. Along the way I ran a marathon,became an avid yoga practitioner and got certified to teach, learned how to sail and became an opera lover. Challenge is my primary life motivator. I believe everyday should involve laughter and a good piece of dark chocolate. I am lucky to have friends all over the worldand firmly believe your family becomes the relationships that you build and prioritizethroughout your life. I am excited tograduate from Wharton with my MBA in May and hope to hike the Camino deSantiago in Spain before I start my new life in consulting in London in thefall.
