Jennifer Niskanen is a freelance writer, editor, and designer for hire in Nipigon, Ontario, Canada: http://bit.ly/1AbLqYQ. She originally came from Durham Region and Scugog Township to Northern Ontario, to attend Lakehead University, where she got her BA and BEd. She met her husband Dave there, who grew up in Nipigon, and somewhere along the line the North became her home. They have now been happily married for fifteen years. They moved to Nipigon from Thunder Bay when they decided to have a family, and their beautiful son Kai was born there a few years later.
