i’m Jay. I’m 50, a Vinyl collector from Manchester, and music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’m not a critic or a music scholar. I’m just someone who listens closely, often, and with care.

From cassettes in a Walkman to stacks of CDs and crates of records, music has always been more than background noise. It’s been a company. It’s been a memory. It’s been everything from comfort to joy to something I couldn’t name but felt deeply.
