John Njuguna is an aspiring engineer currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He is Passionate about harnessing technology to drive positive change and has been an active member of organizations which are driven to impact positive change in communities. He is currently a member of the IEEE Climate and Sustainability Task Force (CSTF) and SDG 7, which champion for energy efficiency and climate sustainability.

Through these affiliations, John is deeply engaged in initiatives that focuses on fostering the involvement of young people in sustainable energy transitions, with a strong emphasis on climate sustainability. At the moment, his efforts are geared towards the promotion of Electric vehicles in Kenya where he advocates for youth involvement in the transition. His dedication to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity has been the driving force behind his academic and extracurricular pursuits. With a firm belief in the power of innovation, John is committed to contributing to a future where technology and sustainability go hand in hand.
