Born in Hong Kong in 1990, Fung-cho Wu is currently pursuing her Master of Arts at the Royal Academy of Music under the instructions of Kate Hill and Pat Morris. Fung-cho has been affected by her family and first developed her musicality through the piano at the age of 5, followed by flute lessons at 12, she eventually found her passion for music. In 2013 She completed her Bachelor’s degree, graduating with First-class honours from the Hong Kong Baptist University. After graduated, she devoted herself working as a musician and music teacher.
Fung-cho is keen on giving performances on both solo and ensemble performances. She has performed at the Royal Academy of Music, Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Citibank Plaza and Auditorium in Hong Kong Baptist University. On top of solo performances, Fung-cho is an active ensemble player. She had flute quartet performance at William Goodenough House, flute trio and flute ensemble performances at Royal Academy of Music and flute duet performance at Hong Kong City Hall Theatre.
Fung-cho has also actively attended and performed in masterclasses for William Bennett, Emily Beynon, Stefano Parrino, Helen Keen, Paul Edmund-Davies, Jari Puhakka, Megan Sterling, Olivier Nowak, and Timothy Wilson.
