Dr. Noreen Golfman is dean of Graduate Studies at Memorial

University of Newfoundland and a professor of English and

film studies. Her PhD is from the University of Western Ontario.

She is currently president of the Canadian Federation of
Social Sciences and Humanities and an advisor to the
Canadian Studies program at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
