Ngou Patrick

Dr NGOU PATRICK founded in 2013 the association GREEN HEART CAMEROON which works for the promotion of health and the protection of the environment. He is also the initiator of the "HEALTH BY ALL" concept which stipulates that each individual is the main player in his or her own health. he does not undergo the care but he is the essential link. He also thinks that in the Cameroonian context, caregivers tend to want to adapt the population to the medicine and not adapt the medicine to the population.

Dr NGOU PATRICK is a Cameroonian pediatrician, trained in Cameroon, specialist in Cameroonian children. He is involved in community health. He also defines himself as a creator of digital content, he uses his stories lived within the framework of his profession to raise awareness in an entertaining, self-deprecating but instructive language. He is the author of two educational documentaries with the titles "pockets of resistance to vaccinations" and "malaria in all its states".

On the professional level, Dr NGOU PATRICK

1. Worked from 2011 to 2013 as a general practitioner in the emergency department, then in the premature and low birth weight department of the mother and child center of the Chantal Biya Foundation in Yaounde.

2. From 2013 to 2018 he did his pediatrics specialization at the faculty of medicine and biomedical sciences of the university of yaounde 1 after which he obtained a DES in pediatrics. His passion for the community has not left him.

3. The same year, with a sister association, he organized the first national health promotion days with the community approach, the theme of which was "childhood malaria in all its forms".

4. From 2018 to 2020 he is head of the pediatric department of the regional hospital of nkongsamba

5. From 2020 to 2023 he is head of department at the kribi district hospital.

6. He is also a member of the Cameroonian Pediatric Society.

HIS AMBITIONS:1. Halve infant and child mortality in 5 years

2. conduct a community study on progressive visceral malaria and hyperimmune malarial splenomegaly, orphan forms of malaria that continue to decimate Cameroonian children.

3. Involve the population in the health care chain as the main actors of their health and have the "HEALTH BY ALL" concept accepted worldwide.
