As a teacher, I find myself following what I was taught as a child: education exists not only in the classroom, but beyond in the world. While most of my students have never left the state, I find myself continuing to travel and learn and bringing my experiences into my room as food for thought.
After six years of teaching, I have continued to learn and experience the world. Full-time teacher, full time graduate student, and part-time summer camp supervisor keeps me wondering if there are enough hours in one day, and how little sleep can I teach on! These adventures challenge me as I travel from the midwest to teach in Asia and Europe alike, and to explore and discuss immerging technology and cultural curriculum uses and possibilities with my classmates.
