Hoang Nguyen is the story of a true underdog. Having had enough of the communist regime in Vietnam, Hoang made up his mind to search for new beginnings in the Western Hemisphere. The strapping 9 year old swam the shark-infested Pacific Ocean with nothing but his family on a boat tied to his back. After discovering America, Hoang planted his clan's flag into Texas ground, which struck oil, and declared Houston his new home. After many years of hard work, he received a full ride to Texas A&M University. His college years were full of shenanigans which included travels to several exotic countries, a few skydives here and there, ran with and got thrashed around by some bulls in Pamplona, founded a secret society, and ran a small but profitable business. Upon his recent graduation from Texas A&M, Hoang began a search for new worlds to conquer.
