While I may have begun my academic journey in computer information systems, I found myself at home in the humanities. The digital humanities allows me to do both. I have in recent years gravitated more towards philosophy, Kant and Foucault in particular, and have found a passion in higher education and student affairs. I see higher education as a true vessel for social justice, and I also see the digital as an amazing opportunity to explore, to educate, and to connect people and their knowledge to others in ways never before conceivable.
