Nia Brown

I started my career as an internal recruiter at K2 Partnering Solutions where I learnt a great deal about the recruitment industry from an agency prospective while finding recruiters to join the K2 team in Geneva. Working within a vibrant fast moving company I was able to explore many opportunities which also included hiring and managing an intern.

I was then offered a great opportunity to work as an intern at Yahoo and gain valuable work experience from a multinational company where I learnt a great deal of new skills. Being an online company that was extremely fast moving, being flexible and embracing change was essential during my year there.

After my internship I was given the opportunity to join Nestlé and use my skills from the agency and online multinational experiences in kick staring the sourcing project in the Nestlé Recruitment Competency Centre (NRCC) where I use a number of social networks and sourcing methods to support the Recruitment Partners find candidates for their roles that have a limited talent pool. Now I am on a two month contract which will end in November in which I work on the Digital Communications within the recruitment team at Nestle. My passion lies with new sourcing methods, the changes of how we interact online and how that changes the way we recruit and will recruit in the future.
