About Me

My name is Nia Galloway and I graduated from Royse City High School in 2022/2023. While in high school, I focused on an educator career field. While in High School I was in the teacher's class for three years and loved learning about kids and working with them. I was in TAFE for three years, which is the “Teachers association of Future Educators” in which you created materials for certain teacher-related stuff that I went to state for. When I graduated I got a teaching aid that will allow me to be a teacher assistant in college. Which is why I’m here now. This will be my first job out of High School and I am very excited to work with the kids. I understand why kids are Frustrated and Unhappy and can slowly work with them so they can get better. I have very excellent communication skills and I am a very quick learner. People tell me I am very good at explaining things also. I want to work as a math teacher or maybe a music teacher. I want to be a music teacher because I have a big love for music. I’ve been in band since 6th grade till I graduated.

Education plays an essential role in people's lives. In school, They have certain classes that are focused on the career the student wants to pursue after high school, Which is important because for some classes you can get a certification in that class, For example, after doing three years of the teaching class you can get your teaching aid. Education helps your social skills and your communication skills by having you speak in front of people and talk to your friends. For example, In Texas, they require this class called Professional communication which helps you with your resume, Interviews, and How to speak in front of people like a professional. Health also helps you after school because it teaches you about your health and the effect of drugs and alcohol and what it does to you.

• My winterguard team placed 6th at championships
• I got bronze at TAFE State Competition
