Niagara Falls Cafe Bluegrass Festival
Niagara Falls, Southland
Believed to be the most southern bluegrass event in the world, the Niagara Falls Cafe Bluegrass Festival was created by Southlander Alton McDonald and his brother-in-law Steven Hayes in 2007.
The two-day event, held at a cafe near the second most famous Niagara Falls in the world, is a chance for musicians and music lovers to enjoy a laid-back weekend in the sun, with some good old bluegrass (and some not strictly bluegrass) tunes.
Food, beverages, family entertainment and camping are all available at the festival, with southern Southland's great tourist attractions nearby.
