I started dancing at 2 years old & it has continued to be my passion in life. I graduated from Spelman College in 2009 with a BA in Theatre and Dance. Since receiving my degree I have performed in the BET Hip Hop Awards, AIDA with the Atlanta Opera, nationally televised Georgia Lottery Flashmob, a world premiere musical I Dream directed by Jasmine Guy in which I was a principal dancer, the Real Housewives of Atlanta, international tour Drumline Live, and served as an assistant choreographer for the Martin Luther King, Jr. monument unveiling among others. Before attending Spelman I was a dancer at the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff with the M4 band where I was head captain of the Golden Girls my sophomore year. My teaching background starts at 14 years old at Belmont Schol of Dance in my hometown. From there I became an instructor with the National Dance Alliance and was promoted to head instructor after 3 years of being with the company. Since moving to Atlanta in 2006 I have taught at a number of schools and studios in the metro Atlanta area. Born & raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas I started Let’s Dance Summer workshop in 2007 to service youth in my hometown. We have introduced dance to over 200 children to date and I am dilligently working on the expansion of my company.
