New York, N.Y.

I'm a recent graduate of Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism where I recieved my M.S. and concentrated in broadcast journalism. I graduated from Wellesley College in May 2012 with a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish. I am an aspiring journalist with interests in sports, politics, pop culture, local news and food. Check out some of my stories here!

Last semester I was a member of the Columbia News Tonight team. I am also completed my master's project on changes within American soccer culture and the U.S. Youth Development Academy speaking to many MLS Academy and local youth coaches across the country.

In my first semester at Columbia I covered New York City's Brazilian community for New York Torch. I was also a multimedia journalism intern at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in my hometown in the summer of 2011 where I first learned how to shoot and edit videos using Final Cut Pro and overcame my fear of (wo)man on the street interviews.

I'm a foodie, diehard Pittsburgh sports fan, cupcake connoisseur, British culture appreciator, and became a huge Real Madrid enthusiast after studying abroad in Córdoba, Spain. If I could do a story on all of these things at once, I would.
