Hi

Thanks for viewing my page, I thought I'd use this page to allow anyone who's interested to get to know a little bit more about me, to connect on more than a professional level and to give a little background on how I got into marketing.

I'm a graduate of the Marketing, Innovation and Technology degree run in DCU. The course was challenging yet unique and covered a combination of marketing and business aspects including a range of financial based modules and an introduction to a range of technologies from ICT's to emerging life sciences and biotechnology.

I've worked in retail in Halfords Swords, dealing with customers on the frontline while all the time learning how to manage situations, monitor customer preferences and analysing behavioural patterns to get a grasp on how and why customers make purchases. I also ran my own business Valeting cars, using modern markeitng techniques and focusing on print and PR I managed to turn this small small venture into a viable income earner before making the choice to pursue a career in marketing as I enjoyed the challange of promoting my company to the car care market.

Before working in BMW as a Product Marketing Executive I worked as a Marketing Intern in Croke Park Stadium spending my time working on the online presence of the company and promoting the superb conference facilities that they have available. The role involved Social media monitoring, Web content management, Analytical management, Print media administration and SEO. The role also gave me the opportunity to work on marketing projects that were given the task of improving brand image and promoting new, exciting concepts and products. I was also the administrator for the Croke Park Community fund which was a way for Croke Park to give back to the local community through a range of charitable donations to worthwhile projects.
