Legal Practice
Niall Handy is a barrister (Senior Counsel) in general practice in Ireland with expertise in the areas of planning and environmental law, administrative law, judicial review, commercial litigation, and ADR. He is a former Chairperson of the Irish Environmental Law Association, and a regular speaker at association and industry events. He also practices as a CEDR accredited Commercial Mediator.

Lecturing
Niall taught planning and environmental law at The Honorable Society of Kings Inns for a number of years, has also tutored environmental law at the Law Society, and has taught health and safety law, administrative law and employment law to HSE delegates. Niall holds further qualifications in arbitration, business and information technology.

Publications
Author of many peer reviewed articles (e.g. Irish Planning and Environmental Law Journal, Commercial Law Practitioner), newspaper articles, and a contributing author to the LexisNexis series "Doing Business in Ireland".
