Currently my main focus is on Cyber Safety workshops for children, parents and teachers in Ireland. For more details on this aspect www.CyberSafetyAdvice.com
I spend a number of years training to go to the next level of becoming a teacher after I completed my Degree in Electronics & Computing, but I felt I needed to go back to technology which i did. I began my tech career as Tech Support Analyst, then an IT Technician/Shop Keeper, Manager of busy IT Shop before starting my own business PC Clean in 2007. Pc Clean is an IT Support business serving customers in Donegal. In the years I spend on this business, I developed a great deal of relationships with customers in SME, schools and homes which has inspired me to where I am currently in my career. Back when Bebo was starting out, parents & teachers asked me about dangers of Bebo for the children.
This inspired me to create a workshop for parents to educate them in easy to understand language on the positives and negatives of the internet, for themselves but more importantly their children. The workshop received great feedback from participants in the Donegal area which supported my acceptance of taking the workshop nationwide where I help parents, teachers and children better understand how to remain safe online and some simple tips to minimise the risk of Cyber-bullying, Mobile phone abuse, security hacks, fraud and more. Please have a look at www.CyberSafetyAdvice.com/Testimonials on feedback received so far.
