Professor Niall Piercy

Professor Piercy’s work is focused on the strategic interface between marketing and operations management. This work is framed with a lean operations approach to cross-functional integration.
Professor Piercy has served as advisor on organisational integration and entrepreneurship to local and national government on issues from service and corporate management through to counter-terrorism operations as well as to private sector organisations around the world in industries as diverse as pharmaceutical to power generation. His research has been supported by a range of funders including Economic and Social Research Council, The British Academy, the Welsh Assembly Government and the Ministry of Defence.
Professor Piercy has worked at a number of leading institutions, including: Swansea University and the University of Bath.
