Nicole Caro

Audio Engineer and Film editor in San Juan, Puerto Rico

Nicole Caro was born July 4th, 1987 in the Bronx, New York. She went to Bergen County Technical High School in Teterboro. BCTHS was ranked the 31st best high school in the United States and the 3rd best in New Jersey. She majored 4 years in Computer Science Programming.

Some of the skills she learned there was:

National Occupational Certification for Internet Technology (NOCTI), Microsoft Office programs, Java 1 & 2 programming, 1 year Cisco networking, Web design languages, Adobe Photoshop design and newsletter publishing experience.

Some achievements she has earned are: Certificate of excellence in ITT, Certificate of course completion in Programming and Robotics with ID Tech camp at Princeton University. Certificate of completion for Mixologist at Bartending College. Certificate of completion TAP Briefings on VA Benefits. Certificate of completion Stress Management.

Growing up in a serving and supportive military family of all branches it was quite easy for her to Join the United States Marine Corps active duty at Parris Island, SC in January 2009 in a time of war. MOS Motor T CA 3500. Later that year she was transferred to Temporary Disability Retired List and eventually Honorably Discharged December 2011.

She graduated Full Sail University October 2014 with a Recording Arts Bachelor of Science Degree. She continued her education and earned her Masters of Fine Arts in Film Production to further her career in audio for Music and Film entertainment.

Some of the thesis short films she worked on are:

Fenrick the Troll as production assistant, Sound Soaker as Boom Operator, Bad Connections Sound Mixer, and Bad Taste as Sound Designer and Mixer.

She was an Administrator / Treasurer Officer of the Veterans Student Union to give back to fellow Veterans and students and in her community. Now she is Grammy U member and founder of T.Y.M.E. Productions.
