Accounting major, expected graduation date of 2016
Passionate fan of hockey and the values promoted through it, such as; hard work, teamwork, accountability, respect, and the importance of doing what you love. Ever since I was a young boy I played, watched, and supported hockey and throughout my years the values of the sport caught on with me and are apparent in my everyday life. I am passionate about everything that I do and believe in committing myself fully in everything that I do. I believe in holding myself accountable for my successes and failures in life and I believe in cooperating and engaging with my teammates when approaching a challenge. These are all values and traits that I developed through my years as a fan of hockey and I believer that hockey, and sports in general, provide life lessons that are valuable to all as they approach challenges and life in general.
As I move forward in life to pursue a CPA and a career in accounting I am confident that the lessons I learned playing hockey will provide me with a path to success.
I plan on spending my upcoming summer interning for Compass Group North America in the role of a internal auditor and I am confident that the life lessons of hockey will have a positive impact on my performance.
