Amherst, Massachusetts, United States

I am currently a sophomore at The University of Massachusetts Amherst and am enrolled in the Isenberg School of Management pursuing a degree in Sport Management.
Since I can remember, I have always had a lifelong passion for all sports, which comes from my competitive family. My mother was a high jumper throughout high school and my father played Division II basketball in college. Throughout my life, I have been involved in multiple sports such as basketball, baseball, track, and even ultimate frisbee. Each of these sports provided me with some of the most incredible experiences in my life and helped me form lifelong friendships.
Last year as a freshman, I interned with the Town of Amherst Recreation Department as a Web Administrator and assistant coach for the town's ultimate frisbee league. This was an amazing opportunity where I not only developed important leadership qualities coaching, but running the league's website taught me the work ethic required to run a single department. As for this year, I was fortunate enough to become a part of the UMass Amherst Marketing Athletic Team working for the football and basketball programs. With my previous marketing background from my job at CBS Radio Boston, I was able to combine my love for sports with different marketing techniques to give me a unique perspective on what it takes to succeed in the sport industry.
Sports have always been one of the biggest influences in my life. Without them, I would not be the type of individual and leader I am today. I look forward to expanding my passion and knowledge of various aspects of sports and becoming the best Sport Management major I can be.
