Nicholas Clifford

Nicholas Clifford, of Clifford Law Group, is an attorney who represents those facing the loss of their liberty and a sometimes permanent mark on their name in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area. He has dedicated his career to criminal defense, fighting for the rights of those accused of crimes such as DWI/Impaired driving, domestic violence and drug charges. He also has experience practicing in immigration, assisting those who wish to come to United States to live and work.
Nick is an alumnus of North Carolina State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He then went to law school at Florida State University College of Law, where he earned his juris doctor. Nick practiced criminal defense in both a public defender's office in Florida, where he represented clients on both misdemeanors and felonies at all stages of their case, and in private practice.
Nick moved back to Raleigh in 2012 and, after working in private practice, began Clifford Law Group with his wife, Veronica. In his spare time, Nick volunteers with WakeUP Wake County, an organization that supports local smart, sustainable growth, and with his church, Western Boulevard Presbyterian Church.
