I am a third year university student currently living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I attend Ryerson University where I study RTA Media Production. From a young age I have had a passion for writing. In particular, I enjoy writing for both the screen and the stage. Through opportunities at Ryerson I have written scripts for a number of different genres including 11 minute and 22 minute animated television programs, reality programming and hour long serialized dramas.

I created and produced a web series for RUTV called RUTV Quarters. The series took a look at the living conditions found in University residences. In addition to producing the show I also acted as one of the primary cinematographers. My work in cinematography and photography extends beyond RUTV Quarters. I specialize in cinematography for stop motion animation and just completed work on a stop motion film by the name of Ralph and Rosie. I have taken the time to develop a wide range of technical skills including a strong knowledge of the Adobe suite. As an aspiring writer and producer I believe that having a solid understanding of the technical requirements of a production is important when developing and evaluating potential projects.

I hope to pursue a career as a screenwriter or playwright after university. As my career progresses I am also interested in eventually teaching. This summer I will be taking on the role of Media Lead for Ryerson Summer Day Camps. This position will involve overseeing their social media pages, as well as acting as the camps photographer and videographer.
