Nicholas Karambelas is a director of Hastings Commentaries which is affiliated with Hastings Analysis. Hastings Commentaries publishes a range of publications on its website. The American Law Companion offers practical articles on contemporary legal issues, the American Commentary on Eastern Mediterranean Issues offers essays which analyze US foreign policy towards the countries which border the Eastern Mediterranean Sea and the Craft of Statutory Interpretation which presents practical methods for drafting and analyzing statutes. During his 40 year law career, Mr. Karambelas has written numerous articles on law, history and international affairs as well as a treatise entitled Limited Liability Companies: Law, Practice & Forms which is published by Thompson West Publishing and updated twice a year since 1994. His law practice included company law, securities, franchising, international business transactions and e-commerce. He holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law and a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Union College. He served as Secretary of the D.C. Bar, participated in revising the business entity laws of D.C. and co-chaired Continuing Legal Education Committee of the D.C. Bar. He is Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of the American Community Schools of Athens, Greece.
